For their 2008 Annual Conference in June, IASA has planned a session entitled "Investment Accounting for TIPS and Other
Alternative Assets."
Currently, IASA has one speaker for the session from Sungard. They would like to have a second speaker from an insurance company. Do you know of anyone that might be interested in being a speaker for this session? The session is scheduled for Tuesday, June 3, 2008 from 3:30 - 5:00 pm. The Conference will be held in Seattle, WA. The IASA does not reimburse speakers for their expenses, but they do allow the speakers to attend any of the Conference sessions, breakfast and lunch free of charge the day of their session; not the entire conference. (Most of the Conference activities take place on Tuesday.) Under these circumstances, an ideal speaker would be someone that is already planning on attending the conference.
